Suntrust Verona - LOCATION

Suntrust Verona is located at Brgy.Pook, Silang Cavite. About 10 Minutes from Tagaytay.

THE SUNNY LOCATION

Just for the record, the Suntrust Verona suburban residential property development is located directly along both Silang and Tagaytay Roads. By the clock, Verona’s residents are no more than ten minutes drive from all outside amenities such as shopping centers, restaurants, schools and churches.

Significantly, residents will also be in close proximity to their work place. They are close to Tagaytay’s industrial and commercial nodes. Living in Verona, and working not too far from home, residents will essentially be active members/citizens of the Silang Municipality. While Suntrust Verona residents are blissfully ensconced in their Italian themed suburb, they have every lifestyle amenity they would normally take for granted in a heavily congested urban environment.

Not much of a distance to everything

Three prominent schools in the name of AUP, Canlubang and Dela Salle are within a few minutes driving distance. Along the way are all the usual conveniences to do with monthly shopping excursions and end of week meanderings at malls and dining at restaurants. The residents of Suntrust Verona can enjoy these amenities on the way home from work if they so choose. Tagaytay’s major commercial and industrial centers are close enough as it is.

Commercial shopping hives include the Paseo de Sta Rosa, Waltermart, the Target Mall and Robinsons Market. Shopping just for gourmet meals for the weekend, the residents of Verona can shop at the Super 8 Supermarket before heading off for home. By Monday morning it is time for work again, and so they join the queue to enter the main industrial zones. It is here that the Laguna Technopark is prominent.

Motor industry behemoths in the form of Ford Motors and Toyota Motors are here as well. National Panasonic and Coca-cola also have their facilities here.

Silang

Silang is a landlocked strip within the Philippines archipelago. In lieu of work relocations and job opportunities, it is worthwhile noting that it is here that the country’s national police academy is located. The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction also has its offices here. Plans are afoot for Silang’s commercial expansion to continue southward until it is linked with Lipa City. 

The original inhabitants were Bornean, and it was long before the first Spanish settlers arrived.  On conquest, Silang land was transferred to one Diego de Villalobos. His ownership extended to land which today includes the towns of Amadeo, Alfonso, Carmona and Tanza.

Getting out and about

Good road networks surround the Silang municipality. As this article closes its invitational introduction to Verona, some impressions will be left on communal farming. For the time being, the region’s strong road networks have contributed towards the region’s potential to be developed still further as a major trading node for agricultural products. Also remarked upon later, is Silang and its environs pleasing climate.

To add credence to this is that the municipality is not encountering any major traffic flow and pollution problems at this stage. And it takes a mere two hours, even by the traditional jeepney, to reach your Verona villa from Manila. 

Places to visit

After all the hard work is done for the week, the groceries are packed away and everyone has had enough to eat, there is still more that Verona’s residents can do with themselves over weekends. Sunday is traditionally the day of prayer and worship for millions of Filipino Catholics, a heritage they share with utmost devotion with the Spaniards and Italians.

Silang has one historic church in the name of Our Lady of Candelaria to visit. It dates back all the way to the sixteenth century. After the Cabag Caves have been taken in, family folks can pop in to the Gourmet Farms along the Aguinaldo Highway.
